This marks the band’s most collaborative effort yet, featuring nearly a dozen guests and reflecting on America’s people, places, and stories ahead of its 250th birthday. Produced by longtime bassist Morgan Jahnig in the band’s East Nashville studio, Union Made blends old-time roots, bluegrass fire, and modern resonance.

Standout Collaborations and Singles

  • My Side of the Mountain (Lead Single): Co-written by Ketch Secor, Molly Tuttle, and Luke Combs. It features Tuttle on vocals plus Del McCoury and Ronnie McCoury. The track celebrates Appalachian culture in Western North Carolina (Boone area), where Secor, Combs, and the McCourys have deep ties. Secor calls it a song “for them” — honoring self-reliant mountain folk.

  • “Last American Waltz”: Another heartfelt collaboration with Molly Tuttle, recently released with a music video shot in a Nashville dancehall. It adds emotional depth and bluegrass warmth.

Other guests include Maggie Rose, Turnpike Troubadours’ Evan Felker, Jesse Welles, John Carter Cash, Ana Cristina Cash, Ray Benson, and Lee Oskar. The album closes with a fresh take on Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth.”
